Our MISSION
(& the reason we get out of bed every morning)
VISION & MISSION | Project Leadership's vision is communities without poverty. Its mission is to provide equitable access to education and careers beyond high school. Consider: This morning a plant manager is walking into work, scanning the plant floor and facing the reality of an aging workforce. Miles away, a school counselor is starting the day with a full roster of students who need one-on-one career counseling, a direction for their futures and the knowledge about what it will take to get there. Outside the office, walking to their locker is an overwhelmed high school senior who is undecided about what the Monday after high school graduation will bring. They are unfamiliar with local job opportunities and confused about what type of education and training they might need. These are common realities across East Central Indiana and the reason Project Leadership goes to work every day, establishing community partnerships and providing one-on-one services for local students in career exploration, planning, readiness and experience.
